maetang elephant park is building an elephant clinic that will cater for all sick or injured elephants in the Maetaman valley, The elephant clinic has been paid for by selling t shirts, silk wine bags, elephant paintings and elephant dung paper products as as well as from our elephant riding and bamboo rafting activities. The upkeep and running costs of the elephant clinic are being paid for by selling the work of our most talented elephants and these novelty gifts, are available in our on line shop. This is all part of our policy of protecting asian elephants and taking care of our Mahouts

10:00 Elephant Show

A chance for you to witness the amazing strength, skill and dexterity of the Asian elephant.

10:45 Elephant Safari

Experience the thrill of a life time as you go Elephant Riding through the river and into the forests, perched high on top of this powerful animal.

11:15 Ox Cart Ride

Return to the park through rural farmland, riding in an Ox cart pulled by the endangered Lampoon Ox, known as the Rolls Royce of Oxen

11:45 In Camp

Wander round the camp and watch the Elephants relaxing while Mahouts scamper around with bales of grass and bamboo, taking care of their charges or sip a cup of fresh brewed Hill Tribe, Arabica coffee, under the shade of a giant Ban-Yan tree, before Lunch.

3:00 Bamboo Rafting

After the Buffet Lunch, gently lower yourself onto a bamboo raft and prepare yourself for an amazing trip down a jungle river ... but be prepared to get your bottom wet!!!
